The dollar edged higher and was on track for its fourth straight week of gains as investors cut short bets against it. Bank of America data showed the biggest weekly outflows from Treasuries in 31 weeks, as markets priced in faster US rate increases.
Growing expectations of US rate hikes support the dollar, which tends to pressure dollar-priced commodity exports. A sustained dollar rally can weigh on US grain and oilseed prices over time.
