Mexico bought over 53 million bushels of US corn in a single day, one of the largest such purchases on record, and South Korean buying has also picked up. Informa raised its US yield estimate to 173.4 bushels per acre, above the USDA's 171.8.
Large export buying supports corn prices, but a higher US crop estimate and rising ending stocks limit upside ahead of the USDA report.
