The USDA weekly crop report for the week ending July 29 shows the Upper Midwest oat harvest is most advanced, with South Dakota at 54 percent harvested. Oat and barley conditions are mostly good to excellent, and barley harvest is only beginning.
Good oat conditions and an early harvest point to ample supply, which is mildly bearish for feed oat and barley prices.
