Fed Chairman Powell said the strong US economy will keep interest rate hikes coming, with the key rate now in a 1.75 to 2 percent range after hikes in March and June. The Fed has raised rates several times since 2015.
Higher US rates strengthen the dollar, which tends to weigh on dollar-priced grains and oilseeds and on emerging-market currencies that buy them.
