Platts reports that ongoing European drought is pushing up ethanol feedstock prices for corn and wheat as stocks tighten ahead of a potentially small harvest. Reduced feed availability has also raised demand for DDG, and soybeans are supported by tight rapeseed supplies.
A smaller European harvest tightens wheat and feed-grain supplies, which lifts feed costs and raises demand for substitutes such as DDGS.
