NIBULON exported 1,411,330 tons of commodities in the first quarter of the 2018/19 marketing year, its largest agricultural volume in that period on record. Wheat made up 47.3% of the exports, and about 60% of its grain moved by river barge.
Strong exporter throughput and heavier river use of barges support Ukrainian wheat flows and barge logistics, with only a limited effect on world prices.
