India has exempted specified quantities of essential commodities, including potatoes, onions, rice, wheat flour, sugar, dal and eggs, from domestic export restrictions for Maldives under a bilateral trade agreement for 2019-20. The fixed quantities, such as 89,454 MT of rice and 78,612 MT of wheat flour, are larger than the previous fiscal year.
