Brownfield reports that the July WASDE lowered US corn and soybean production, using June acreage, while the USDA is resurveying producers for the August report. Wheat, soybeans, meal and oil all firmed on short covering and technical buying, while weekly export sales were bearish.
Lower US production estimates support corn and soybean complex prices, but the August resurvey could reverse them, so buyers face uncertainty.
