Soybeans hit limit down on Monday, with the May contract down 5.7% at lunchtime and set to post the biggest one-day drop since July 2021. Wheat also fell, and the selloff followed Trump's comments that he may delay his China visit.
Fund long positions were unwound as hopes for a China trade deal faded, which pressures soybean and wheat prices in the near term.
