The National Biodiesel Board submitted RFS comments on September 3 urging higher advanced biofuel and biomass-based diesel volumes. A DC Circuit court also upheld EPA's method for setting 2017 biomass-based diesel volumes while rejecting refiners' challenges.
The court ruling preserves the existing biodiesel volume framework, which supports soybean oil demand from biodiesel producers.
