Arkansas Delta farmers have begun harvesting cotton, soybeans, peanuts and remaining rice after a wet spring and late planting. USDA's October report showed US soybean acres down 14.3%, yield down 7.3%, and rice harvested down 15% from last season.
Smaller US soybean and rice crops tighten domestic supplies, supporting prices for soybean meal and rice in the US market.
