China is expected to ship at least 1.2 million tons of urea to India under India's latest tender, with loading required by September 24. The volume would be at least two-thirds of the tender total and more than a fifth of China's expanded export quota of about 5 to 5.5 million tons.
Urea prices hit a four-year high in April but have since erased that rally.
Large Chinese supply flowing into India's tender adds to global urea availability and eases the tightness left by the Middle East disruption, pressuring urea prices lower.

China's large urea supply into India's tender (1.2 Mt, loading by Sept 24) is a major trade-flow event, though it is dated 08-27 and its direction is ambiguous: it could signal ample supply or confirm firm tender demand.
Same China-to-India tender news (Aug 27) shows India's demand was met mainly by Chinese supply, which sets the pricing benchmark and could trigger repricing.
