USDA announced February 2024 Federal Milk Marketing Order class prices on February 28, with Class II at $20.53, Class III at $16.08 and Class IV at $19.85 per cwt, all slightly higher than January. The advanced Class I base price fell 49 cents to $17.99.
Higher Class III and IV prices modestly lift farm milk checks, and the wide Class IV over Class III spread keeps depooling incentives in place.
