Ukrainian sea ports handled 984 thousand tonnes of grain in the week of May 2-8, down 10% week on week. Wheat shipments rose 23% to 351 thousand tonnes, while corn fell 18% and barley halved.
China, Egypt and Vietnam were the top importers.
Stronger wheat shipments draw supply from the Black Sea and support export pricing for wheat. The weekly move is modest, so the impact on world prices is limited.
