France's Ministry of Agriculture cut its October harvest forecasts for most grains, oilseeds and sugar beet due to adverse weather. Corn was lowered to 13.5 million tonnes and common wheat to 29.2 million tonnes, about 26% below last season and 18% below the five-year average, and barley to 10.5 million tonnes.
