The DTN/Progressive Farmer Digital Yield Tour, run with Gro Intelligence in August, forecast record U.S. corn and soybean yields of 183.9 and 53.1 bushels per acre. The estimate did not fully capture losses from the August 10 derecho, which Gro estimates put at billions of bushels of potential production at risk.
Record yield forecasts point to ample supply, which is bearish, but derecho damage in the I states partly offsets that and supports prices.
