Ukrainian seaports shipped 3.4 million tonnes of grain in April 2021, up 3.1% month on month. Corn exports rose 11.4% to 2.7 million tonnes, with China the main destination, while wheat was flat and barley fell sharply.
Steady Ukrainian corn loadings support Black Sea export availability, but the gain is modest and does not change the global balance much, so the price effect is limited.
