Prairie Oat Growers Association says Western Canadian oat conditions are 'not stellar', with directors expecting yields down 25 to 50 percent. AAFC's July estimate cut oat production nearly 10 percent to 3.79 million tonnes, and cash bids were around $4 to $4.50 per bushel.
