Conab is running field surveys in Piaui for its 12th survey of the 2020/21 grain harvest, focusing on second-crop corn that suffered water stress during grain filling. The final cycle report is due September 9, and the survey will also collect production cost prices for soybeans and corn.
The final Conab figures may revise Brazil's corn estimate, but Piaui is a small producer, so the price impact is limited.
