DAP offtake plunges by 38% YoY in November

Pakistan's DAP sales fell 38.4% year-on-year to 220,000 tonnes in November 2021 due to higher prices. The domestic 50 kg bag price rose 16% month-on-month to Rs8,015.

International DAP was quoted at $626-670/t fob Australia and $750-753/t fob China.

Import-dependent Pakistani buyers are cutting volumes at current price levels, which weighs on regional phosphate demand. International quotes confirm elevated global DAP prices.
