St. Louis Fed President James Bullard said that the Fed's rapid rate increases have strengthened the dollar, and that this strength may ease once the Fed reaches a pause in hikes. His remarks were made at an IMF and World Bank meeting panel in Washington.
Commentary suggesting the dollar's strength may fade later points to eventual support for dollar-priced commodities, but the effect is not immediate.
