Algeria has opened its market to bone-in beef imports from Argentina and approved a certificate update extending shelf life of vacuum-packed chilled boneless beef to 120 days. The agreement followed a technical videoconference on January 16 between health authorities of both countries.
Expanded export access for Argentine beef adds a modest new outlet for Argentine cattle supply, with limited direct effect on feed grain or protein markets.
