Canadian Pacific Kansas City estimated the 13-day B.C. port strike cost it about $80 million in revenue, with CMO John Brooks saying the company will try to recover much of it in the remaining quarters. The strike halted operations at most West Coast ports and sharply reduced container hauling in the first week.
The disruption shows the strike's cost to rail carriers but does not change grain or feed supply; the effect on feed prices is small since the strike has ended.
