Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on the making available on the Union market and the export from the Union of certain commodities and products associated with deforestation and forest degradation

The EU published an overview of Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, adopted on 31 May 2023, which repeals the EU Timber Regulation and sets rules for placing cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood products on the EU market. The regulation aims to reduce the EU's contribution to deforestation and related emissions and biodiversity loss.
