UK oat exports have begun to slow after strong historical shipments, mainly to the EU, with a season forecast of about 105 Kt. Wheat exports have fallen sharply while imports rose on domestic shortages and adverse weather, and barley exports declined as imports more than doubled.
A slowdown in UK oat exports leaves more supply at home and modestly eases export demand for oats in Europe, while the shift to wheat and barley imports tightens UK feed grain balances.
