A Goldman Sachs analyst warned that Asian LNG prices could rise above $20 per mmBtu if European gas supply tightens this winter. The warning was made in Singapore on November 27.
Higher Asian LNG prices would strengthen the global gas price floor and support energy and fertilizer costs. The effect on feed commodities would be indirect.
