Chicago SRW and Kansas City HRW wheat futures hit three-month-plus highs on February 14, 2025. IKAR cut its Russian 2024-25 wheat export forecast to 43 million MT and its 2025 Russian harvest forecast to 82 million MT, citing dry weather and frost.
A smaller Russian crop and export forecast tighten global wheat supplies and support prices. Higher wheat values make wheat less competitive as a feed ingredient.
