Myanmar B1 and B2 broken rice prices fell to $264/mt FOB on July 25, a 5.5-year low, as demand weakened from China, the EU, Indonesia and the Philippines. Chinese buyers have shifted toward A1 and A2 varieties.
Weak demand from major importers and a price discount to other Asian origins point to continued downward pressure on lower-grade broken rice values.
