The July WASDE raised US wheat production by 0.21 million tonnes, but higher exports more than offset this and lowered US wheat ending stocks. US corn production was cut by 2.3 million tonnes, and corn ending stocks fell to 272 million tonnes, a 12-year low stocks-to-use ratio, though the market eased after the release.
Tighter US corn and wheat ending stocks support feed grain prices over the medium term, but the initial market reaction was muted because of record production.
