Five sources told Reuters that OPEC+ is likely to approve an increase of about 550,000 bpd for September when it meets on August 3. That would complete the return of 2.17 million bpd from eight members, and also cover an extra 300,000 bpd UAE quota increase.
Completing the unwind of voluntary cuts adds crude supply to the market, which is bearish for crude and for energy-linked input costs such as diesel and freight used in feed supply chains.
