Pro Farmer raised its 2025 yield estimate to 182.7 bushels per acre, below USDA's 186.7 September figure, and expects USDA yield assumptions to fall once it updates.
Higher-than-expected carryout and record US corn acres point to ample feed corn supplies, though a possible USDA yield cut could tighten them. Price implications are mixed and mostly limited to longer-term outlooks.
