The USDA Foreign Agricultural Service expects Australia to harvest its largest barley crop on record, at about 15.5 million tonnes, and its second-largest wheat crop, at 37 million tonnes, in 2025-26. Western Australia's production recovered after a late, dry start, and national yields are forecast near record levels.
Wheat exports are forecast at 27 million tonnes.
