FranceAgriMer's update for the week ending February 16 showed soft wheat good/excellent ratings slipping to 88% from 91%, winter barley to 84% from 88%, and durum to 83% from 87%. Spring barley sowing was stalled at 30% by heavy rain in western regions.
Small weekly slippage in French crop ratings leaves European supply still ample, so the impact on prices is limited, though the rain-related sowing delay is worth monitoring.
