State-linked tenders, which benchmark domestic crude palm oil prices, have stalled since the announcement as buyers cut spot bids.
Reduced fruit purchases from smallholders could squeeze grower incomes and crimp palm oil supply, tightening the market. The stall in state tenders also removes a key price benchmark for export offers.
