Cepea reports Brazilian chicken meat prices rose in many regions in early September on stronger consumer demand tied to wage payments and a holiday. August chicken exports were 492.6 thousand tons, down 5.1% from July but 24.8% above last year.
Firmer domestic chicken prices and steady exports support Brazilian poultry demand and feed use. Exports are expected to accelerate in the final quarter, which would support feed grain demand.
