Processing Journal reports that Clean Fuels Alliance America marked June 15, the effective date of the EPA's finalized 2026-2027 RFS volumes, by sending a letter to President Trump. The group says early data shows higher biodiesel and renewable diesel output and stronger feedstock demand.
It expects soybean processors to crush 57% of the domestic crop this year and next, up from 52% in 2024.
A higher crush share raises demand for soybeans and soybean oil while producing more meal. Stronger domestic processing could reduce reliance on Chinese export demand.
