Market participants said China's decision to impose countertariffs on US farm products from March 10 would have limited impact on its grain and oilseed imports. China has already been cutting its reliance on US supplies and has shifted purchases to Australia, Canada, Russia and Argentina.
Traders said China has not bought US wheat for months and has a large domestic wheat crop.
