According to the Rosario Board of Trade, Argentina has regained the top spot as the world's largest soybean meal exporter. Its first-half 2024 meal exports rose 46% to nearly 14 million tonnes, ahead of Brazil at 11.7 million and the US at 7.8 million.
Stronger Argentine meal export volumes add competition for buyers in key markets and weigh on world soymeal prices, although idle crushing capacity limits the extent.
