The USDA attaché in Buenos Aires forecast Argentine 2024/25 soybean exports at 7 million tonnes, above the USDA's 4.5 million, citing lower export taxes from January 27 to June 30. The attaché also differed on crush, ending stocks and meal estimates, while agreeing on a 49 million tonne harvest.
Higher expected Argentine export volumes add supply to world markets and weigh on soybean and meal prices. The export tax cut encourages farmers to sell more.
