DTN reports the 2022 national average soybean yield was 49.5 bushels per acre, with Illinois counties dominating the top of the ranking. The worst yields were in drought-hit Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
Concentrated losses in the Southern Plains were offset by strong Illinois yields, so the net effect on soybean supply is limited.
