Weather 20/20's Gary Lezak said much of the top 18 corn and soybean states are in good shape heading into summer. Drought has been shrinking in many areas, while heavy rain in Kansas caused flooding and affected wheat fields ahead of harvest.
A favorable summer outlook for the Corn Belt is bearish for corn and soybean prices. Kansas wheat flooding may cause local quality or harvest losses but is unlikely to shift prices much.
