The USDA April Feed Outlook lowered 2024-25 U.S. corn ending stocks by 75 million bushels to 1.465 billion bushels on higher exports and lower feed use. The season-average farm corn price was held at $4.35/bu, while the sorghum price was cut 5 cents to $4.10/bu.
Reduced U.S. corn stocks from strong export demand tighten the feed grain balance and support corn and sorghum values, while lower sorghum price expectations reflect discounts to corn.
