Fadhil Hasan of the Indonesian Palm Oil Association said he expects crude palm oil prices to be higher next year than this year. He cited Indonesia's B20 biodiesel mandate and Malaysia's B10 program as drivers of domestic consumption.
He expects prices to be firmer in the first half of 2017 and softer in the second half.
