NASS released 2016 county yields for corn and soybeans, and analysis maps actual yields against trend yields. Lower 2016 farm incomes are expected in the eastern Corn Belt, especially Indiana and Ohio, where yields fell below trend.
These are backward-looking yield results for a past crop year, so they carry little new price information for the 2017 market.
