The Good Growth Partnership, funded by the Global Environment Facility and led by UNDP, launched at the UN in New York to make soy, beef and palm oil supply chains more sustainable. It will work with Brazil, Indonesia, Liberia and Paraguay alongside the private sector and NGOs.
The programme may over time influence sourcing standards for soy, beef and palm oil in major producing countries. Its effect on prices is indirect and unlikely to be material in the near term.
