Gold jumps 1% as dollar slips on Fed rate outlook

Gold rose about 1 percent on December 13, 2017 as the dollar slipped after the Fed raised rates by 25 basis points but left its projected path for 2018 and 2019 unchanged. Spot gold reached about US$1,256.87 an ounce.
