USDA Looking at Options for Protecting Farmers From Chinese Tariffs

USDA Deputy Secretary Steve Censky discussed options to protect farmers from Chinese tariffs on US farm products. President Trump acknowledged farmers could suffer in the trade dispute and said they would ultimately benefit.

The administration has asked USDA for assistance options.
