The US Grains Council said Mexico is the most important global market for US grains, buying a record 13.9 million tonnes of US corn in 2016/17 and the top share of DDGS. It noted that Mexico's new president-elect, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, adds uncertainty to the trade relationship.
