The August 2018 WASDE raised US soybean production to 124.8 million tonnes on higher yields and lifted US soybean ending stocks to 21.3 MMT. US corn production was also raised, while wheat production was lowered, with global wheat ending stocks cut to 259 MMT on EU production declines.
World soybean ending stocks rose to 105.9 MMT.
Higher global soybean stocks signal ample meal supplies, while lower global wheat stocks from EU and dry-weather losses tighten wheat availability for feed use.
