China hog prices hit 14-month high as African swine fever slashes output

Chinese live hog prices rose 7% in a single day on March 11 to 15.09 yuan per kilogram, their highest in 14 months. Prices are up almost 20% since early March as African swine fever with 111 confirmed cases cuts supply.
